The Confetti Flower Field

The Confetti Field 2022 will be open in late June / early July

The Confetti Fields 2022 – We will confirm our open dates for 2022 as soon as we can. We need to let the flowers grow and see what the weather throws at us before we can fix the dates for when we think the flowers will be in full bloom. But as a guide, we usually open for 10 days around the end of June into early July.

We hope to see you in the flowers in 2022!

With love from The Petal People  xxx

Quick FAQs:

Where is the confetti field?

The Wyke Manor Estate is situated in the village of Wick, just outside Pershore, in Worcestershire. Get more info and directions HERE.

When is the confetti field open?

Our 2022 open dates will be released as soon as they are determined. We usually open for 10 days around the end of June/early July. However, the weather can have a huge impact on the growth of the flowers, so we monitor them closely to predict when they will be in full bloom. Consequently, tickets will not go on sale until we are confident the flowers are on track.

Can I bring a picnic?

Yes, you are very welcome to bring a picnic along. There is lots of grass around the edges of the flowers where you can sit down – please don’t eat in the middle of the flowers. Please bring a blanket as it can be a little damp on the grass, especially in the mornings!

Is it ok to take photos in the flowers?

Yes, of course! The Confetti Field is a wonderful place to take beautiful pictures of your loved ones, practice your landscapes shots or macro work with the bees and butterflies. If you are not a professional photographer there is no extra charge for taking pictures. However, Professional Photographers who will profit from their photographs must pre-register with us – read all the info HERE. Thank you!

Can I bring a pram/pushchair?

Of course you can! However, we are a pop-up event in farm fields so the ground is bumpy and uneven underfoot. There are no hard footpaths/pavements. Please be aware that it can be hard to push prams when the ground is muddy or very dry and dusty. Some people do struggle with lighter weight models. You might prefer to use a carrying sling or similar instead.

Can I book to have a photoshoot in the confetti field?

We do not recommend photographers, but you will find examples of flower field work on our social media feeds @realflowerpetalconfetti Plenty of local photographers offer different packages and options. For example, #confettifields is a great place to start!

If you already have a photographer in mind, you’ll need to ask them to read our Commercial Photography T&Cs HERE and have them register with us.

Can I buy your flowers?

Yes, we offer bunches of flowers for sale inside the flower field. We also sell a small range of our Confetti Petals too!

Please note that we cannot guarantee that flowers will be available to purchase all day every day. Certainly, this might sound a bit crazy given that we have so many flowers! But if we cut the blooms when it is very hot, the petals start to fall straight away. We want to sell you something that will last.

If you require flowers for a wedding or event, please call Nancy on 01386 555045.

Are you wheelchair friendly?

Please remember that we are a pop-up event in a farm field. The ground is very bumpy and uneven. This can be challenging for those with limited mobility. We advise that it is generally unsuitable for wheelchairs, lightweight mobility scooters and walking frames. However, many more intrepid visitors in wheelchairs and mobility scooters do negotiate the grassy areas around the flowers. We would advise that it comes down to the attitude and frailty of the individual. Please read on down this page for more information on Disabled Access.

Do you have a café?

Yes, we do! The Confetti Café is a pop-up inside the field that offers hot and cold drinks, cakes and ice creams. We’re sorry but we do not have meals available. Therefore, we recommend that you head into Pershore after your visit where you’ll find lots of lovely cafes, pubs and restaurants.

Can I bring my dog?

No, we are very sorry, but no animals (except registered service animals) are allowed. Please DO NOT leave them in your car.

General Visiting Information

Visiting Our Farm:

Please remember that we are a working farm and this is a pop-up event! Farm fields are bumpy and uneven underfoot. There are lots of plants and insects around that might scratch, sting or bite. Consequently, we recommend you wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the outdoors. A hat and sunscreen on a sunny day is essential. To clarify, there is very little shade or cover in the confetti fields, so please come prepared!

Little ones in buggies and prams are, of course, very welcome! But be aware that you might struggle on bumpy, dusty or wet ground.

We have portable loos available in the car parks and confetti field. However, there is no running water or electricity on site. We strongly recommend that you bring your own hand sanitiser with you.

The weather:

Because we are outdoor event in a farm field we are at the mercy of the weather! When the field is open, we will keep you informed of the conditions via regular updates on this web page and on our social media. For example, in hot weather it is very dry and dusty underfoot. On the other hand, on a rainy day it can be muddy. Please check before you travel and plan accordingly.

We may have to close the confetti field in the event of bad weather, for instance, heavy rain or high winds. Please check our website or social media feeds before you set off on your journey to see us. We will give you as much notice as possible. If we must close the field you will receive a full refund.

Groups and Coach Trips:

Please be aware that admission will be checked in your car. Therefore, if you are visiting in a group, each vehicle will need to know the order number of the ticket booking.

We can accommodate small mini buses in the car park. However, we are not be able to accept full size coaches.

Disabled Access:

Most importantly, please remember that our Confetti Field is just a farm field. Therefore, it is very bumpy and uneven underfoot. We replant the flower field in a different place each year. Therefore, there are no permanent hard surfaces or pathways. We cut out routes through the flowers with a mower. Consequently the soil can become very soft and dusty (or muddy in wet weather). This can be challenging for those with limited mobility. We advise that it is generally unsuitable for wheelchairs, lightweight mobility scooters and walking frames.

However, we have lots of grassed space around the edge of the flowers and we create a special seating area for people with disabilities or reduced mobility. Therefore, you can see the flowers without walking too far. Many more intrepid visitors in wheelchairs and mobility scooters do negotiate the grassy areas. We would advise that it comes down to the attitude and frailty of the individual. If you are planning a visit with family/friends with mobility issues, please do call us to discuss you concerns.

Disabled toilets are provided. No wheelchairs are available for loan. No concessions for carers.

Professional & Commercial Photography:

The Confetti Field makes a wonderful backdrop and setting for a photo shoot. However, any and all commercial activity does not fall under our general admission terms.

We have a dedicated page HERE for all Professional Photographers or businesses interested in running any form of photoshoot, class or workshop in the confetti field. Please take a look before you get in touch.

Looking to book a photo shoots? We recommend checking our social media feeds @realflowerpetalconfetti to find people who might be offering their photography services – #confettifields is a great place to start!

*Please note that access outside of our opening dates and times is strictly limited and by prior arrangement only. Please get in touch.

Media Enquiries:

Please call Nancy on 01386 555045 if you are interested in writing about or filming in our flower field. Do note that there is a very short window when the flowers are in bloom!
