Coloured Rose Petals For Funerals
These biodegradable Coloured Rose Memorial Petals have been preserved and colour enhanced. This means that they are not completely natural, but they offer a way to get certain colours and very vivid colours that cannot be achieved in nature. They are still biodegradable. But, most importantly, please take note that these petals are dyed. Therefore they may leak colour if they are crushed, get wet or are exposed to high humidity. You should not place them on surfaces with oil based paint or varnish finish. Similarly, you should not scatter them in water.
If you are looking for pure white rose memorial petals then these colour enhanced petals are your only option. Colours tend to lighten when dried, and whites always turn to softer ivory and cream. To clarify, our White Coloured Roses are pure bright white – the perfect choice to symbolise purity and goodness.
Coloured Rose Petals are also available in black, blue and green – colours that roses simply do not grow in. Therefore, if you are looking for specific colours of rose petals to give a great impact to the ceremony, you might decide that colour enhanced memorial petals are right for you.
We sell Coloured Rose Petals in single colours only. If you would like to mix different colours of these petals together, we suggest doing it a few hours before they are to be used.

- Real, biodegradable rose petals which have been preserved and colour enhanced.
- The preservation technique allows the memorial petals to be vividly coloured and retain their softness.

Size:
- Coloured Rose Petals vary in size from approximately 1.5 – 3cm wide by 2 – 3cm high.
- The shade of colour and size of the petals may sometimes slightly vary from those illustrated.
- A 10 Handful Box contains 1 pint measure of petals.
- A 40 Handful Box contains 4 pint measures of petals.
- An Individual Petal Bag measures 24cm by 16cm and holds 1 handful of petals. It is made of a translucent cream voile fabric with a drawstring closure.
- A Sachet measures 15cm by 8.5cm at the top and has a gold hook to hold/hang it up. It holds 1 handful of petals. The clear plastic sachet is fully recyclable.
- The whitewashed basket is handmade therefore the exact size and shade of colour may sometimes slightly vary. L 25 x W 10 x H 10cm (H 25cm incl. handle). Please note this basket is quite narrow.
Care:
- Coloured Rose Petals will keep at their best for 12 months.
- Our petals are very easy to look after: Simply store them at room temperature and out of direct sunlight.
