We were delighted to host Tim Walker and his team in The Confetti Flower Field in June 2018. And ever since, we have been very much looking forward to seeing the photographs! His images have been published in the December 2018 British Vogue magazine, in time to celebrate Diwali. Tim’s photos capture a surreal wonderland, full of light and beauty and saturated with colour.
WITHIN YOU WITHOUT YOU is all about India: “Life and light and beauty and colour and what it is to be human.” Together with stylist Kate Phelan, Tim “created a world in which the lines between the real and the imagined are forever blurred”. Our flower field is an amazing place: Full of rich, vivid colour and tall, elegant blooms. As a result, it has provided an intense and vibrant setting for Tim’s pictures.
Flower fields in Vogue!
Vogue filled a corner of The Confetti Flower Field on the Wyke Manor Estate with giant creatures on stilts, smoke bombs, beautiful people and fabulous clothes. But we had no idea quite what magic they were creating!
In 2019 the V&A Museum in London will be hosting a major Tim Walker retrospective exhibition. We hope some of these stunning images will be displayed in large scale on their walls. What a treat that would be!
“…lose yourself in this kaleidoscopic extravaganza…”
We are absolutely thrilled to see our flower field gracing the pages of such a fabulous magazine. Tim’s work is spell-binding and we are honoured to be a small part of this incredible visual world.
But perhaps most importantly, The Confetti Flower Field will be open to the public again in 2019! Please do keep an eye on our website because we will reveal the dates in early 2019.

Our Flower Field is a unique location and consequently we get many requests for it to be used as a film and photography location. If you are interested in filming or shooting on the Wyke Manor Estate please all Nancy on 01386 555045. However, please be aware the flowers bloom for a very short time, and as a result it is not possible for us to accommodate everyone.
