Join us in The Confetti Flower Field during the wonderful light of a summer’s evening and enjoy a special performance from Armonico Consort.
On Thursday 6th July The Confetti Field will be open from 6pm until 8.30pm. We invite you to dress in your finery, pack a delicious picnic, and spend a few happy hours in amongst the flowers. Admission will be limited at this special event. It’s sure to be a wonderful experience!
Highlights –
The flowers will look spectacular in the soft evening sunlight. You are able to stroll around the blooms and enjoy more space and tranquillity, because numbers will be limited at this event.
Furthermore, you can book a photography shoot for this evening opening. Please ask your photographer to purchase a photography pass HERE.
We encourage you to bring your own picnic feast, drinks, or snacks. Celebrate a wonderful evening with friends in style, with yummy treats and eats.
Please bring your own seating – folding chairs or a picnic rug and cushions. And, certainly, we recommend bringing warm blankets in case it gets cool. You can find your own space to set up your evening to watch the opera.
Dido & Aeneas
Incredible singers and instrumentalists will create the atmosphere with a performance of Henry Purcell’s only true opera, Dido & Aeneas. In an emotionally charged and entertaining performance, the epic tragedy of a queen, a soldier, and an illicit love, will be told through a rich array of music. Set with minimal staging, against the beautiful backdrop of the Worcestershire countryside and our colourful flowers, this will be a tender rendition of a remarkable opera.

We are encouraging you to wear your fanciest glad rags with your wellies or walking boots – this event is not one for the high heels! And we will be awarding beautiful bouquets to the most fabulous ensembles.
