Hydrangea petals are super pretty clusters of petals that look a little bit like flowerheads. They are slightly bigger petals, but they are very light, so they hang in the air for the confetti moment. Because Hydrangea Petals are quite big you don’t get very many petals per handful. (They are not suitable for our confetti cones.)

Certainly, this soft lilac/grey colour is very subtle and chic. They will stand out well against darker backgrounds and have a great impact for the confetti photo.

Additionally, Hydrangeas are a lovely alternative to rose petals for a flower girl or page boy to scatter down the wedding aisle.

These pretty petals are older stocks and consequently they are starting to lose their colouring. So, let’s enjoy them! They will be great for you, if you are getting wed in the next few months. Alternatively, if you decide to store them (in a cool, dry place) for your wedding later in the year, please note that they will continue to fade.
