We are delighted to announce that the 2019 Confetti Moment Competition Winners are James and Amy!
The happy couple were married on 17th August 2019 at Upwaltham Barns, in Sussex. Their amazing photograph was taken by Bethany Howarth Photography.
The standard of entries was extremely high this year, and consequently we had quite a few contenders for the bottles of bubbly (you can see some of our runners up in the gallery at the bottom of the page)…. But we all agreed that this picture was just an explosion of petals and colour and joy. In other words, everything a confetti moment should be!
The Confetti Petals
James and Amy chose our Candy Coloured Rose Petals and Ivory Delphinium Petals for their throw. Coloured Rose Petals are quite large and consequently you do get a mass of colour in the picture. Certainly, this photo proves that sometimes more really is more! That is to say, if you can be generous with your confetti great things will happen! This is a moment James and Amy (and their friends and family!) will truly never forget.
Their clever photographer has arranged all the wedding guests in a half circle: As a result, the couple are surrounded by well-wishers and we get to see lots of happy faces throwing the confetti petals. The confetti shot is a tricky one for a photographer, that is to say, there is a lot of good luck required! But talented folk like Bethany know the tricks to help you get that brilliant picture. And remember to talk to your photographer – tell them what you want, and you can work together to achieve it. Quite a lot of organisation went into getting this picture.
