Royal Wedding Confetti
Fit for a King – In 2005 we supplied the now King Charles III and Queen consort Camilla with their royal wedding confetti petals! This was both a delight and an honour.
The wedding of Charles and Camilla took place in a civil ceremony at Windsor Guildhall, on 9 April 2005. The ceremony was low key, with only the happy couple’s families in attendance. Consequently, the confetti moment was a family affair. Princes William and Harry arranged it as a surprise for their father! It was quite clandestine. Two black limos arrived to collect the petals from our farm. Until we saw the photos in the papers on Sunday morning we couldn’t quite be sure… But there was Prince Harry enthusiastically throwing our petals all over the newly married couple!
Fit for a King
The princes chose a mix of Pale Pink and Ivory Delphiniums for the confetti. Apparently, beautiful, tall and elegant delphiniums are one of King Charles’ favourite flowers. The blend of Ivory and Pale Pink is soft, subtle and classic, and, as you can see, the light colour of the petals means that they stand out very well against a dark background.
Tens of thousands of weddings later, this moment is certainly one of our proudest!

The petals in this Royal Wedding Confetti have been homegrown here on the Wyke Manor Estate in Worcestershire. We carefully handpick every petal and then dry them naturally in the sunshine to achieve the highest quality wedding confetti. Truly fit for royalty!
And our new “green” King will love the eco-credentials of his Royal Wedding Confetti: Petals are picked and dried using human power and sunshine! We transport them less than a mile across the farm to be stored (at room temperature – no heating or aircon!). And we will mix and pack every order by hand too. Most importantly, each summer the flower field provides a colourful haven for wildlife, bees and butterflies. Our real flower petal confetti is a eco-friendly, sustainable, positive choice – it will biodegrade as naturally as blossom! No mess, no waste, no impact.
